About this race
The Barnegat Light Ocean Mile Swim, a fundraiser for the Barnegat Light Beach Patrol, offers free swimming lessons to local elementary age children. The course runs from 30th Street beach to 16th Street beach. LBI lifeguards receive reduced entry fees, and Barnegat Light lifeguards participate for free. The race will be held rain or shine.
